Buy a Piece of the Kingdom
I am not one to give someone free advertising, but when I came across these sites I thought it might be of interest to others.
There are two Ebay stores that sell surplus Disney World items. Have you ever wanted to own door numbers from the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa? Well, wait no longer – they are being auctioned now. Maybe you want that Mickey Goofy Pooh Tigger Chocolate Candy Mold that is used to make candy in the Parks? Well, then maybe you would be interested in this auction.
The Polynesian and Grand Floridian are undergoing renovation and much of the furniture and soft treatments are ending up online. Now, I presume many of these items are well used – as one would expect of surplus items from a hotel/resort. Nonetheless, many people would be interested in many of these items. I’ve never purchased anything from these sellers, so the typical caution one needs to take with e-bay auctions (such as Do I really want it for that price?) should be followed here.
