Space Mountain at Walt Disney World to be Closed April 2009 to End of Year!

According to the WDW Parks website, the Magic Kingdom will be without one of its major attractions this year.  Space Mountain is scheduled to be refurbished and unavailable for rides.

Beginning on April 19, 2009 through late this year, Space Mountain will be closed.   For the sake of visitors hopefully Disney will have a plan to ensure other attractions are capable of taking up the slack.  I am certain that there will be a large number of disappointed visitors.
