Revelations – Planet of the Battlestar Galactica
Spoilers for those who have not viewed the latest episode.
Well, here we go again. There seems to be very little originality in any of the “twists” introduced by the writers of Battlestar Galactica. The original aspect I suppose is limited to the series’ soap opera qualities – which I can’t appreciate.
OK – for those keeping track – BSG has now taken dramatic scenes from Laurence of Arabia, the Bible, and now – Planet of the Apes. All that was missing was “Oh my God. I’m back…I’m home. All the time, it was…we finally really did it!! You maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God…damn you all to hell!”
It was hardly worth the time put into watching the episode. Adama is emo (what gives) that’s not a leader. Good Grief! Finally the “final four” have been revealed, but Tigh gave himself up. No real drama. Everyone knew that Lee would not launch Tigh into vacuum and start a battle that would leave everyone dead. Just flat pointless.
